ALLENHURST POLICE DEPARTMENT

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATOR

The Allenhurst Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Telecommunicator. 

This is a full-time position. Resumes and applications will be open until filled.  STARTING SALARY: $35,360 ($17 P/HR)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a citizen of the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• A driver’s license is NOT required for this position however, you MUST have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language well.
• Must be in good health.
• Must be of good moral character, and shall not have been convicted of any crime or offense.
• Applicants will pass a background check, as well as interview process.  Applicants MUST pass a drug screening test.

• 8 hour work day.
