NOTICE OF POSTING FOR JOB OPENING

Positions: P/T Special Law Enforcement Officer Class III (SLEO III)

POINT PLEASANT POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Point Pleasant Police Department is accepting applications for the position of part-time SLEO III Officers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

SELO III Officers will be assigned to school facilities in accordance with NJ State Statute. Officers will be per diem employees, assigned to a school for 7.5 hours each school day, 180 days each school year (September through June). Compensation is $30.00 an hour with all uniforms and equipment supplied.

Requirements:

Police Department Tattoo Policy:

Visible tattoos or similar markings on the face, head, scalp, neck, and below the elbows are prohibited.  Visible tattoos or similar markings that are visible when wearing short sleeves are also prohibited and must be covered with a department approved cover up.
