The Groton Long Point Police Department is seeking interest from a Connecticut POSTC Certified police officer to fill a full-time vacancy. Active Connecticut POSTC certified officers who are in good standing with their current department and/or Officers retired/retiring in good standing and POSTC certified are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate is required to successfully complete a written exam, interview, background investigation, polygraph, psychological and physical exam to include a drug screening. Full time officers are members of a collective bargaining unit, receive medical benefits, Paid Time Off and a retirement package.
