The Town of Londonderry is seeking to hire intelligent and motivated officers. The Town offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The position requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position is only for Police Officers who are currently certified in the state of New Hampshire.
We understand how important your days off are, and offer a modified hiring process for high-quality certified applicants. We will work with you to get your physical test and oral board completed within the same day at your convenience.
The police officer shall be responsible for the enforcement of the applicable laws of the State of New Hampshire and applicable ordinances of the Town of Londonderry. He/She shall patrol the Town of Londonderry by foot or cruiser, regulate traffic, investigate and report criminal acts when discovered, investigate accidents, and file appropriate reports as prescribed by Departmental Rules, Regulations, Procedures, and/or superior officers. He/She shall also be responsible for other duties as assigned.
The Londonderry Police Department prohibits tattoos on an employee's hands, neck, or face. No employee shall have tattoos that contain inappropriate content as determined by the Chief of Police. Any employee may file a written request for a specific and limited waiver to the Chief of Police who shall make a determination on a case-by-case- basis.
