The Plaistow Emergency Communications Center is seeking experienced applicants for a full-time Public Safety Telecommunicator (dispatcher). This frontline position provides a valuable service to the public as the first contact for those in need of police, fire, or emergency medical service. Be involved. Help your community while working in a supportive, rewarding, team-building atmosphere. This full-time position could be a perfect fit for individuals possessing the necessary skills. Previous experience preferred but not necessary, will train the right person.
Applicants are required to complete a professional interview and medical exam which will include a drug screening, as well as an extensive background investigation and a criminal records check.
Benefits are provided under the Plaistow Police Collective Bargaining Agreement with Teamsters Local 633. Benefits include, but are not limited to, health, dental, life insurance, earned time off, holiday pay, and short/long term disability. Participation in the New Hampshire Retirement System.
*Current hourly salary (step 1) $25.64 / hour
