THE PLYMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT IS NOW HIRING FOR THE POSITION OF

CERTIFIED DISPATCHER

The Town of Plymouth is a rural community in Litchfield County covering 22.4 square miles and is home to approximately 12,000 residents. The Plymouth Police Department is made up of 25 sworn officers and 11 dispatchers and is now accepting applications for the position of Part Time Dispatcher on-line through PoliceApp.com.  Candidates must be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. Successful candidates will be required to pass an oral examinations and a background check. They must possess a valid CT driver’s license.  The salary is $23.07 per hour after training. 

Looking for candidates who can work flexible hours to include weekends, nights, & holidays. Excellent computer skills, data entry typing, good interpersonal skills with telephone & radio communications. Must be able to multitask and work under pressure.
