Mission

The mission of the Forest Heights Police Department (FHPD) is to service our community under a decree of honor, integrity and personal courage.

The members of this organization provide professional police services as members of the community and exhibit unwavering duty to the safety of our public and the confidence of the residents and visitors of Forest Heights and Prince George’s County.

Responsibilities

The Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of local, state and federal laws, the prevention of crime, the response to police service requests and overall public safety within the corporate limits and its surrounding area.
