GENERAL NOTICE: The City of Bristol is accepting applications for Police Officer testing at www.PoliceApp.com to establish an eligibility list for filling future vacancies. Initial testing includes: CHIP Card (physical ability exam), CPCA written examination, and oral examination. (A psychological, medical (including drug screen) and polygraph examination, as well as an extensive background investigation are required prior to hiring.) A valid CT Driver’s License is required at date of hire.
SALARY RANGE: $60,558 - $73,610/year
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT TIME OF APPLICATION:
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- United States Citizen
PRE-REQUISITES: To participate in our process, you must have a valid CPCA Entry Level Written Exam (CT Police Chiefs Association) with a test score of 75 or above and a Valid CHIP Card issued on or after May 21, 2016. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 28th, 2016.

If you do NOT currently meet these requirements, up-coming opportunities are as follows:
- Next CPCA written test registration date is Nov. 16, 2016, with a test date of Nov. 19, 2016.

- Next CHIP test registration date is Nov. 12, 2016 with a test date of Nov. 20, 2016
- REGISTER by completing the CHIP Registration Forms ($65 Fee)
Once you have completed these requirements, go to www.PoliceApp.com no later than November 28, 2016 to apply for Bristol.
