BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- United States Citizen
- 21 Years of Age at Time of Appointment
- Valid Driver's License
- Possess a Missouri P.O.S.T. Certification
Preference points will also be considered for applicants who have an Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT
Trenton is the county seat of Grundy County with a population of approximately 6001. Trenton is a rural community located on US 65 in north central Missouri and the home of North Central Missouri College. Our Police Department employs twelve full-time Police Officers, five part-time Police Officers, six Communication Officers, and an Animal Control Officer. We participate in various programs such as community based policing programs, problem oriented policing, and a multi-jurisdictional tactical team.
