Interview with the Chief of Police:

The Mayor is the appointing authority for the City of Greenfield.  The Chief of Police will conduct interviews with selected candidates when an opening is ready to be filled and make recommendations to the mayor.

Conditional Offer of Employment:

This contract is entered into between the candidate for hire and the City of Greenfield.  This contract only extends to a candidate that is offered a position as a police officer.  Once signed, the department will agree to hire the candidate provided all “conditions” are met.
