ABOUT THE DTPD:
The Dallas Township Police Department is a progressive, innovative, and community oriented police department that believes strongly in the principles of crime fighting, community engagement, and professional development. The department employs 13 full time sworn officers, a k9 unit, and 1 civilian.
Dallas Township is located in the northeast region of Luzerne County, covering 18.73 square miles, and home to nearly 9,300 people.
The department has maintained accreditation through the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission since July 2007.
