The Borough of Lincoln Park, located in Morris County, New Jersey is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Under general supervision, the Police Officer performs law enforcement duties in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of the Lincoln Park Police Department and in compliance with governing federal, state, and local laws. General Qualifications:
- Currently employed by a NJ Civil Service Agency minimum of one year of service (current employer must be willing to sign waiver of release)
- Currently enrolled in an Alternate Route Program or a recent graduate from an Alternate Route Program
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Citizen of the United States with New Jersey residency
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good moral character and not be convicted of any criminal offenses
- Must pass medical, psychological, and drug screening prior to appointment

Salary:
- Starting salary for 2022 is $49,800
- Top Pay $134,754 (Appx B)
- Top step Patrol Officer as per Appendix B of the current contract is $134,754
