Thanks for the replys and ideas. I have been trying to take care of my credit problems over the last year. Most of them are 5-10 years old, back when I was young and foolish. I think I will go ahead with the application process and see what happ...

Write to the 3 bureaus and get your reports. Make a copy of every page of every report. One copy for them, one copy for you. Go through EVERY item and dispute what can be disputed. The negative items that can not be disputed, write a brief synops...

yeah, you fail the test. I'm 6ft 3in and all leg. I have never failed this step. I am not flexible. Trying stretching out often and immediately before the test.

The post offer poly is more "personal". They are questions that they can't legally ask you until after they offer employment.

Not sure about local depts but I know you have to have a ct license and residence before you go to the academy. Check with each dept application for their requirements or call them to be 100% sure.
