Academy hair length

Message: I read the rule and regulations for the academy, and it doesn't state that you need to have your head buzzed. I was just wondering if it's just better to have it buzzed even though the rules don't require it. I imagine a high percentage...

  Message:  As long as your hair is above the earline your fine. No facial hair at all. Alot of guys in my class have their head shaved, including myself. But there are a few with "regular" hairstyles.

  Message:  Don't even bother applying anywhere. Every department I know of classifies it as a "hard drug", which will DQ you. Anything more than marijuana will usually DQ you.

Message: I just applied to West Hartford. I was told that they do a rolling recruitment and they are going to test me in about a week. I heard they do a different kind of written test. Has anyone taken their written.

  Message:  50 questions, 12 mins to answer as many as you can. i believe its 22 or 23 you have to have correct to move on. If failed you can retake exam in 3 months.

  Message:  It's a 12 minute timed IQ test. You need 22 correct to pass.

  Message:  yeah, you fail the test. I'm 6ft 3in and all leg. I have never failed this step. I am not flexible. Trying stretching out often and immediately before the test.
