Applying to different Departments

| Message: I was wondering as I am applying to different police departments, should I only apply to only one or two or would it be okay if I sent out applications to perhaps 3 or 4. Thank you for your time and help. |

Do apply to as many departments as you can, but remaining cognizant of exam dates, and your current and future availability. Some departments will post an exam time line, and some wont. Generally you should never contact the PD in regards to status...

I found out through my background inverstigator with another department i was going through the process with. I guess Plainville doesnt like to give out results. Oh well

When I had my oral interview with them this summer, I never heard a thing from them. If they do not contact you about starting a background investigation, then they are not considering you. They never sent a letter or anything. I found out from on...

Contact the department you are interested in and then they will get in touch with the academy to find out about your certification. Usually you would have to go thru the hiring process with the PD and if selected they will send you for any additional...
