I got an 86, i got calls from farmington, vernon, and bloomfield, but i was certified and i ended up getting hired elsewhere beforehand.... Good luck!

i got a 92 and never heard from them, i heard from farmington, vernon and bloomfield....didnt meet bloomfields after the interview, never heard from farmington and withdrew from vernon

As a matter of fact, I have heard that Ct State Police has one of the hardest academies in the country.. I could believe it. I heard RI and Mass State Academies are hard too.

State Police Academy is the most demanding academy in the state. 27 weeks of constant structure...PT, Academics, field work, from 0500 to 2200 Monday through Friday. Add in the continuous yelling, stress and physical demands, it takes a toll on you...

If you want to be strictly state police only apply to be state police, if you don't care where you are a LEO, then apply to more jobs

To catch a fish, some times you must cast a wide. It doesn't hurt to apply to multiple departments and it should improve your odds

If you keep a steady job you CAN fail. You need to run a little faster than a JOG to not fail. I tried that the other day on the track and I did it in 16:40. I usually do 12:50. Don't give bad advice. You need to run hard on the track for...

Don't just run 1.5 miles to train, run 2-3 miles each time at the pace you need to run at. using 12minutes again, try to run 2 miles in under 15 minutes, or 3 miles in under 24 minutes. Run outside, or on a track, tread mill training just doesn&#...

I've been through their whole process. The asst. chiefs do the oral boards and are nice guys. Just be honest with them because they check your background before you meet with them
