I havent heard back yet but they told me at the end of the interview that i would hear from them in a week. its been two. dont know if thats a good or bad thing.

about a month or so back i had an interveiw with them. i had to write an essay as well as answer a whole bunch of questions. they said i wouldnt hear back until june sometime

I applied to West Haven last year. I didn't get hired, but they did process me slowly through the process. I've heard other people say that they interview and hire off the previous years list, so hang in there and be patient. No news is us...

yes new britain is short by quite a few...not sure the total but somewhere around 20 to 30...but city hall is dragging their feet and has yet to set up when the app. will be posted (even though we are suppose to have another acad in late Sept.)..beca...

Thanks for the info....Wow, 20-30 officers down.. I keep checking their website and still no test so hopefully they find some extra cash in the budget soon if they are that many officers short.

That sounds about right...I've taken it every year in April...this year they told me they were "booked" for April and May and they no longer test in the summer....thanks for the input, I guess they just porked me

I took the LEC test earlier this month and according to them they hold a testing once a month. If you fail you have to wait 5 months to take it again and like you said if you pass your on a list for a year. However, the testing I was in this month ...
