| Message: Test will be coming out soon. There will also be agility classes for all those people who are not in shape. They are looking to hire another 50+ just like this year.. Get on it ASAP.. Take advangtage of the PT classes that they are going to set up.... |

Guys/girls just so you know NHPD has alot of openings to fill. Even with the recruits that are currently in the academy they are still severely short-staffed. When the current recruits are done with training they want to immediately jump on the next ...

they are hiring 10 more and putting them in the waterbury academy. So this year they wil have hired 60 new officers. THey next class will start in April.. A great oppurtunity for those who have a dream.. TAKE IT>> DONT BE DUMB

I am checking everywhere right now....I would really like to work in a department with a computer crime lab. I know that alot of departments recently finished recruitment in the end of Spring. I am just kind of impatient I guess!

I tested with Norwalk before, and it took them over a year to process me through each step, and they didn't hire me. They didn't give a specific reason why they didn't hire me either.

A friend of mine has one during the 2nd week in August. I heard that only 90 or so passed, so chances are those who did pass will have their interview in the next month, I'd assume.

You can get some study guides at Barnes and Noble/Borders. It won't have exact questions, obviously...but some helpful hints to let you know what to expect. I felt it was really useful. Good luck!!

Yes, there are tons of books out there that help. Most book stores have them, like Barns and Noble or Borders. I used them for my test and I felt very prepared when I took it. Apparently they helped me at least a little because I was hired. Good ...
