I got my email yesterday for Westport. It is friday night in westport at the high school. If you haven't recieved an email then I'm not sure if they accepted your application.

West Hartford does a college citizens academy, if your in college give them a call and find out its worth going to. It was a great program, guaranteed interview if you pass the chip test and the written( both given during class time.)

A Citizen Academy can provide insight to how a law enforcement agency operates (services to the community, daily operations etc..) If you are interested in a career in law enforcement, it certainly could not hurt and will look positive in your applic...

When I spoke with the Lt. he said the process was going to be a fairly quick one, and they were looking to get an OFFICER in the academy by December. From the sound of it one, maybe two at the very most.
