Just because you told the truth doesnt mean you get to move on in the process? Police departments have certain standards and if you do not meet those standards, ie drug/alcohol use, employment history, criminal history, etc.. IT'S SIMPLE YOU DON...

Your answers can be the basis of rejection--especially if you have done some bad things in the past. Assaults, drugs, gangs, excessive drinking--all of these can get you bounced right from the polygraph

I was in the 120th but didn't get selected...I know some people that did make it into the 120th that should have no business being a cop, but that just goes to show that the investigators don't do half as good as the regular municipal investi...

You will be given booklets to take home and complete. You will be given a date to have them returned by. For anyone still involved in the New Britain process, just be at the Saturday meeting and we will answer all of your questions.

Thanks Zack. Same thing with me. The polygrapher tried his best to make me admit to using drugs when I didn't. Then I was told I didn't pass the test. I hope all polygraphs don't go like this.
