Keep it brief, honest, low key..dont rant and rave for ten minutes about your old job... in the background packet, inform them briefly of the reason for termination, and MOVE ON.. Remember .. you are not the first one who was fired and moved on... te...

Ok, thanks for your input. I have already came up with an explanation, not as lengthy, but to the point. I made the mistake, my former boss took it personally and thats it. Lesson learned, keep your opinions to yourself.

No you won't hear anything for a while. I hear they are only selecting 2 of the 36 from the second phase or second group. Look to hear back by May, June.

Hartford's Academy is a similar to a military boot camp. Very strict, drill type atmosphere in the beginning, then lightens up as time goes by. It is a commuter academy in the north end of Hartford. If you pass, you will gradute in shape & ready ...

Sean- It is at 8:30 am at Avon HS. If you applied via this website you should have recieved a confirmation email. I would show up just so you don't miss your chance to test, especially if you have already paid the fee.
