It is an unclassified misdemeanor. It becomes a felony after the third or fourth offense. Given the 8-year time frame, some departments will still consider you.

To the best of my knowledge, DWI is a class C misdemeanor. Some, but not all, departments may consider you for employment.

Its happened to other officers durring the process, to Nervous, etc. Keep trying u will make it they will reconize your name after awhile and give u a little more attention which can go either way. But u have to start from the beginning. I couldn'...

I took the DAS test for the DOC and there is a right (and 2 wrong) answer. I got a 20% on the section. I did answer C (both or either) for most (not all) of the answers because honestly I like to do both options ie - working on machines or performin...

Every department is different on how they score the personality questions. If you answer them truthfully, then you'll be fine. Don't sweat them too much.
