I have not heard that the Academy was on hold. I have several friends in the H.P.D including a seargent and a captain and nobody has mentioned this to me. You need better resources.

Its all about "who you know" right now. These small towns test and take your test fees but you never hear back from them because they are filling their 1 or 2 spots with kids, nieces, and nephews.
