NB has commitede an academy start date of 5/29/2009 to a number of other departments who are sending recruits thru thier academy, jsut not so sure if theyre going to have many, if any at all.......

depends what department, ours is no policy, newtowns is none visible, west haven requires a certain percentage covered, i dont think fairfield or norwalk have one, its all by dept

What type of hernia?
If it was repaired without incident it shouldn't have any bearing. I had one surgically repaired when I was a child. 30+ yrs later..no problems with the hernia and no problems with my hiring.

They'll probably ask 6 to 10 questions, and might allow you 20 mins timed. Most of the question will not be related to law enforcement.
