I received the same letter, I have to re do the test also in Orange, CT in May. I wonder what happened, maybe they found some of the questions were unfair. Who knows...

If you stay in relatively good shape (run about three times a week, do push ups, sit ups, and stretches a couple times a week), the CHIP test should be pretty easy. They don't set the bar up so high that you have to be an ex-SEAL or an Olympian ...

I recently checked into your inquiry, and I believe as of 4/13/2009 the Hartford PD is actively accepting new applications. Hope this answers any doubts you may have... But understand that these CT Police departments just want money which is generate...
