New Britain hired 14 new recruits which start the academy Aug 14. The rest of the applicants will continue on in the process (slowly) and be put on a eligibility list in hopes that they get more money.. Rumor has it they will hold another test in 6...

| Message: I completed the testing up to the Poly, passed the poly and then this week, received a letter saying I was dropped from New Britains process. Frankly I dont understand, there is nothing in my history that should DQ me, but thats what the letter said.... |

Thanks NB. I never got a letter or anything. They take whoever they want and leave the rest of us. Next time I hope noone shows up for their test. Waste of time, gas, and money.

I applied in 07 got DQ after physchological exam. Was encourage to re-apply in 09 pass written, Oral got my backgroung package and they (NB) did not even contact me letting me know where I stand. I suspect they didn't even give me a chance due to...
