Message: Can anyone who has taken the physical exam give me some info. For instance is the running part of the exam on a track or is it a straight run? Do you run in a group and is it outside?

Message:  you will run in groups, usually outside. The breakdown of the groups can be by age or just first come first serve.

Message:  It depends on the Departments. If the test is being done by C.H.I.P.s then it will be on a standard high school track with 6 laps 400 meters. if your department is doing there own test, then anything goes. I would train on a track if I were you, less trauma to your knees and back and you will be use to the distance

Message:  If you mean the CHIP go to http://www.chip-inc.com/test/default.asp and check it out. Sit ups are bent leg, hands tucked behind your ears, and you partner up to hold each others feet. sit and reach, you take off your shoes, sit...and reach. bench press, you take at least one practice rep with any weight you want, then get one at your designated weight and your done. The run is on a track, 6 laps, and you do run in groups.

Message:  Hello, You will most of the time run on a track. If you want to run good times, practice on the outer lanes. You will run in groups and be mostly to the inside, the 1.5 is measured from the inner most lane.Push your pace for 2 miles and you should make it. Best of luck
