Hartford will start accepting new apps 8/18/10. I've heard from the inside that they are looking for 30 new officers and 30 new fireman. I also looked over their budget on their website which confirmed the info.

I heard on the news last night (july 28th) that Hartford got the go ahead to hire new police officers on aug 18th and new firefighters on the 17th. So that leads me to believe we should be hearing something soon for the next phases such as background etc. Good Luck...

Not yet, but if you tested back in august, you should be in the next group, I ranked 55 and was told soon as they get the go ahead they will start notifying us sometime soon. Stay fit and stay out of trouble, Good Luck...
