The Township of Hamilton is accepting applications for
full-time Police Officer.
- The applicant must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 21 and not over 35 years of age (Unless applicant is already enrolled in PFRS), have a valid driver’s license; be able to read, write, and speak the English language; be sound in body and health; be of good moral character and have not been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude.
- The applicant must possess a minimum of 60+ credits from an accredited college or university that is regionally recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or have four years of Military service or four years of law enforcement experience.
- The applicant will undergo drug screening, psychological testing, and oral interviews. At the time of appointment as a police officer, the applicant must be a resident of New Jersey and possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
