BETHEL POLICE DEPARTMENT (CPCA)

IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF

ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER

  

The Bethel Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  Non-Certified (Entry Level) applicants are encouraged to apply

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 21 years of age as of August,15 2023
  • US Citizen
  • High School Graduate/ G.E.D.
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • NO Felony or Class A or B Misdemeanor Convictions. 
  • Must have CHIP Card (40th percentile) 

SALARY 

Anticipated Salary Range: starting  $63,660-$100,987*  includes educational incentive

 

 

BENEFITS

25 year Pension (60%; 70% @ 30 Yrs), 457 Deferred Comp Program, Education Incentive, Tuition Assistance and Holiday Pay

 

TESTING REQUIREMENTS

  • CPCA Written Exam (70% or Higher)
  • Must have CHIP Card (40th percentile)            
  • Possible Additional Physical Agility Exam to be held by the Bethel Police Department
